📦 Technical Description:
Industrial Name: Pilox 75A Extra
Type: Stainless Steel Pickling Paste
Capacity: 1 Liter
Country of Origin: Member of Pilox Group
Material Concentration: 100%
Intended Use: Industrial Only – FOR INDUSTRIAL AND MANUFACTURING USE ONLY
🧬 Properties and Uses:
-
Effective formula for removing:
✅ Welding oxides
✅ Stains and discoloration
✅ Cutting and grinding residues - Restores the metal’s corrosion resistance through passivation.
- Specially used on stainless steel after welding or heat treatment.
⚙️ Instructions for Use:
When welding stainless steel using electric or argon welding, black oxidation marks and heat tints are formed during the welding process.
These black marks penetrate the metal, making them difficult to remove by sanding or regular polishing.
📸 The image shows the importance of this treatment and the results that may occur if grinding or polishing is done after welding without using this process.
This material also plays an important role in extending weld life and maintaining its quality.
🧪 Usage Steps:
🔹 Step 1:
Shake the container well before use.
📌 It is recommended to perform a preliminary test on a small area before full application.
🔹 Step 2:
Allow the paste to react for 3 to 10 minutes (depending on temperature and stainless steel type).
🌡️ The surface temperature of the metal must always be above +25°C.
🔹 Step 3:
Remove the gel residues using:
💦 High-pressure water
or
Stainless steel wire brush
Then rinse the surface thoroughly with water.
⚠️ Wastewater must be treated before disposal.
