This Curved Segment stone comes in large dimensions to be mounted in the heads of machines like Surface Grinders or Cylindrical Grinders. It is used to match curved surfaces such as cylinder heads or exposed molds.

The material used is WA – White Aluminum Oxide, which is a pure white alumina known for being more friable than brown alumina, but superior in its ability to provide a clean finish and light cutting on hard metal surfaces.

The grit number (e.g., 30–40) provides a suitable balance: roughness and smoothness at the same time, which makes the stone suitable for the finishing stage after light initial stock removal.
